
The Giving Classroom | Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

At The Giving Classroom, operated by Kindest Generation LLC, we are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring online learning environment. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines expectations for all students, parents, advisors, and community members using our digital platforms, including Google Classroom and other third-party apps.
By accessing our services, you agree to follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. Core Behavior Expectations (KIND Values)
We expect everyone to embody our KIND Values:
- Knowledge is Power: Share ideas thoughtfully. Help others learn and grow.
- Inspire Others: Use encouraging, uplifting language. Support your classmates and community.
- Never Give Up: Stay positive through challenges. Ask for help when needed, and offer support when possible.
- Diversity is Strength: Respect all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. Embrace inclusion.
2. Online Conduct Rules
Participants must:
- Communicate respectfully in all online spaces.
- Use appropriate, kind language at all times.
- Respect the privacy and work of others.
- Only access resources for educational purposes.
- Never share account credentials or impersonate others.
3. Zero Tolerance for Cyberbullying
The Giving Classroom does not tolerate:
- Threatening, harassing, or demeaning messages.
- Spreading false or harmful content.
- Discriminatory, hateful, or inappropriate comments.
Cyberbullying will result in immediate review and may lead to suspension or removal from our platform.
4. Use of Digital Resources
- Access digital resources solely for educational purposes.
- Follow guidelines when using third-party platforms (Nearpod, Flocabulary, Defined Learning, etc.).
- Respect copyrights and intellectual property.
- Do not attempt to bypass security measures.
5. Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness misconduct or inappropriate behavior, report it immediately to learn@thegivingclassroom.com We investigate all reports seriously and promptly.
6. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- A warning.
- Temporary or permanent account suspension.
- Notification to parents or guardians.
- Dismissal without refund for serious breaches.
7. Restricted Email and Communication Policy
- Students and Advisors will use restricted Google Workspace accounts.
- Email communication is limited to authorized users within The Giving Classroom domain.
- External emailing is disabled for safety and privacy.
- Email accounts must be used responsibly and for educational purposes only.
- Misuse of communication tools will result in disciplinary action.
